Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account and using Udva ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Udva is operated as a personal productivity tool to assist individual job seekers in their own search.

2. Subscription and billing

Udva Pro is billed at $25/month. Your subscription renews automatically on the same date each month. You may cancel at any time from within your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by DodoPayments. We do not store your payment details. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of a charge if you believe there has been an error.

3. Acceptable use

Udva is designed to help you conduct a thoughtful, high-quality job search. You agree to use the Service responsibly:

• Respect portal terms of service.The scanner monitors company career pages on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring your use of any job portal complies with that portal's own terms of service and robots.txt directives.
• No spamming or mass applying. Udva is a research and evaluation tool, not an automated application bot. Do not use it to submit unsolicited or bulk applications. Apply only to roles you genuinely intend to pursue.
• Quality over quantity. The AI evaluation is designed to help you identify the roles most worth your time — not to help you apply to hundreds of jobs at once. Misuse undermines the experience for you and disrespects hiring teams.
• No misrepresentation. Do not use AI-generated CV tailoring to fabricate experience, skills, or qualifications you do not have. Udva surfaces and reframes real experience — it does not invent it.

4. AI-generated content

Evaluations, CV tailoring, and interview prep are generated by AI and provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute professional career advice. Always review AI output before acting on it. Udva is not responsible for outcomes resulting from the use of AI-generated content.

5. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of all content you upload (CV, profile data). You grant Udva a limited licence to process that content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your content to train AI models.

6. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Udva is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including missed job opportunities or application outcomes. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use provisions, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
